San Jose Garbage and Recycling Survey

posted Mar 8, 2013, 7:33 PM by Monika Morrow   [ updated Mar 8, 2013, 8:13 PM ]
The City of San Jose is considering changing billing for Garbage and Recycling from every other month to twice a year. Another option they are considering is adding Garbage and Recycling charges to property tax bills, as is already done with sanitary and storm sewer services. The city wants to hear from us, the residents of San Jose. This is our chance to voice our opinions. If you enter your email at the end of the survey you will be entered for a chance to win one free curbside collection, valued at $26.00, of up to three bulky items (includes sofas, mattresses, refrigerators, or other large items). A link to the survey can be found on the San Jose City's website at http://www.sanjoseca.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=197.

Also, don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour this Sunday, March 10th, for Daylight Saving Time!
